Business Name: Posey Floral and Event Design
Names: Madeleine Myers and Bonni Taylor
What You Do: With over 12 years of combined experience in the floral industry, we are skilled in creating awe-inspiring floral arrangements for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, quinceaneras, galas, corporate events, debutante balls, fundraising events, dinner parties, or any type of party that might need an added pop or pizzazz! Our main focus is floral decor, but we also provide event design to our clients. Different from an event coordinator, Posey offers to direct and manage every aspect of the decor and design of the event. We create custom inspiration boards for our clients in order to communicate the precise vision to be achieved. Beyond that, Posey will manage and coordinate every detail associated with the event's decor - overall themes, lighting and linens, place setting details and favors, and of course the flowers! It is truly our passion to create a one-of-a-kind event just for you!
How Long You've Been In Business: Posey Floral and Event Design was started in 2009, but combined, we've been in the floral business for over 12 years!
Why You Love What You Do: We have a true passion for styling our events based on your individual personality. With Posey on your side, you can be assured we will create a unique style just for you. We take pride in not only our creations, but also our relationships with clients. With our strong art-based backgrounds there is no doubt your event will not only be elegant and beautiful, but true works of art!
Anything Else You'd Like to Tell the World: We're having a launch party to introduce Posey Floral and Event Design to Austin on Wednesday June 9th at Shoal Creek Gallery from 6pm-9pm. The gallery is located at 2905 San Gabriel, Ste 101 (right next to Bodhi Yoga and just under Fino).
Why You Love WING: We love WING because it allows a fabulous group of women who have very unique talents and businesses to come together, share their experiences, and learn from one another, while still inspiring individual growth.
